Consider bringing your own pillows for added comfort during your stay, as the hotel only provides hard ones.

Peaceful central location, short walk to the centre, historic Bakewell, and pubs, shops. Immaculate, tidy unit with extra large bed, the bathroom, for instance.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

Fantastic amazing location, in all areas ". Also - very close to the Peaks/Dales/Moors districts, a hill overlooking Bakewell and centre. Great and fabulous meals.

Consider asking for a room on the upper floor to avoid noise from guests. It may enhance your overall comfort during the stay.

Wonderful large bath in the Chatsworth Suite.
The WiFi connectivity was disappointingly weak throughout my stay.

excellent access to charming parks and famous landmarks
I loved my stay as it was just a short walk to Bath Gardens, where I enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and I was thrilled that Chatsworth Adventure Playground and Farmyard was only a brief distance away for exploration and fun.

Fine hilltop views enhance the overall ambience, and the unique architecture adds character to the stay. The communal lounging area offers a cozy spot to unwind while absorbing the history of the building.
The below-ground room setup left much to be desired. The lack of natural light and low ceiling made showering difficult for someone of my height. Parking proved to be quite the challenge, especially with tight spaces that can leave you frustrated during busy times. The absence of a manned reception and convoluted check-in process might not suit everyone, giving the place a slightly unrefined feel. Noise from nearby guests also disrupted my peace on several occasions.

The kids loved having their own games room. We also took advantage of the nearby trails for cycling. Breakfast was good and served in a nice atmosphere.
My kids wished there was more space for them to play outside, like a little playground.

The Churchdale Suite was impeccably clean, with a powerful shower and a well-equipped kitchenette. The highlight was the attentive staff, especially Martin, who provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The nearby streets can be quite steep, made the walk to town a bit challenging. While the amenities were generally good, a more extensive dining menu would have enhanced the experience.
